Shieldy is a security scanning service that analyzes your code for vulnerabilities. We take your privacy seriously and only collect the minimum data needed to provide our service.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in.
• Repository data: code from repositories you explicitly connect via our GitHub App, used only to perform scans.
• Scan results: findings, severity counts, and metadata from scans you run.
• Usage data: basic analytics (page views, button clicks) to improve the product.

How we use it

We use your data only to run security scans, deliver scan reports, process payments, and improve Shieldy. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use your code to train AI models.

Data retention

Scan results are stored for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes all associated data within 30 days.
